Smart glove for hearing impaired people to convert sign language into speec

This project is about smart glove which will help dumb people to communicate with normal human beings more easily. In the field of human computer interaction technology an upward trend has been seen in the last ten years or so because of convenience that it has brought to the world. Our project is based on this newly adopted technology whereby the user will wear smart glove to communicate by hand gestures. The whole system consists of a glove, sensors will be studded onto the glove along its fingers, and an accelerometer is mounted on the glove which will give information about the orientation of the wrist. Sensors and accelerometer are connected to analog input pins of Arduino mini pro via connecting wires. A Bluetooth module is connected to controller’s output pin. On the receiver end an Android Application installed on the mobile phone will receive signals from transmitting Bluetooth module and will convert the data from to a format understandable for human beings.
